Tarek kabil

Tarek Kabil is former minister of trade and industry for Egypt. Previously he was Partner in Abraaj group and head of the performance Acceleration group for MENA,Turkey and central Asia,where he leads performance improvement for more than 40 company. previously Tarek held leadership positions in PepsiCo for 18 years, most recently the President of PepsiCo international for Middle East and Africa (MEA) for beverages and snacks and president and CEO for MEA and Southeast Asia for Intl Dairy and Juice Co.joint venture between PepsiCo and Almarai Co. Tarek joined PepsiCo as technical director for Egypt and North Africa in 1994 and subsequently franchise VP for Northeast Africa in 1997. In 1999, he took on the role of chairman of the board and CEO of the company’s newly acquired beverage business in Egypt. In 2002 Tarek’s role was expanded to include North Africa franchise countries and snacks business. The following year he was promoted to North Africa BU general manager In June 2006, Tarek was named VP of operations for MEA.
